A View of Cid Island, Anchorages are sheltered behind the island between Cid and Whitsunday Island. Mays Bay (in the distance left), Dugong Inlet (rear centre), and Cid Harbour (the right, behind the island).

Description Saw Mill Bay: A great overnight anchorage large and sheltered, approach cautiously and be aware of the tide as the beach slope is fairly gradual.

Things of Interest There is a scenic 1.1 km bushwalk from Sawmill beach to Dugong Beach, picnic tables are available at both ends. For the adventurous there is a 2.5km one way (4 hrs return) challenging walk to the The Whitsunday peak, reaching an elevation of 437m.
